Jean's Party

Jean invited our family over for a Labor Day BBQ that was so much fun. Her back yard was perfect and decorated so cute with like a hundred lanterns.

The dessert that Jean served was to die for!!! Dylan was obviously thrilled to eat as fast as his mouth would allow.

Jean also handed out party bags that were filled with little trinkets. Brian tried on the fangs.

I'm sending along some photos of our ceremony. We had a great wedding day and we've decided to not return to the mainland. We missed you!!!!

We have a very strenuous day ahead of sunbathing and snorkeling so I must start getting ready. By the way, the first photo is the view when we entered our room!

We had to get together to celebrate Jean's wedding,







and Allison's Birthday!




Sadly, Carol, who planned this little get together, woke up sick and couldn't come! I felt so bad. Especially sense I thought I had missed the party being out of town last weekend. I was wrong! Allison even wrapped her own present from Carol.... She didn't see inside the box until opening it at the party. We laughed. Poor Carol!

Allison drove up early because the CheeseCake Factory doesn't take reservations. So Allison got there at 10:50 am to wait in a line that went down the sidewalk. When she got to the desk they said that the entire party had to be there to get on the list. Jean and I got there at 11:30 am and got us on the list. They didn't seat us until I don't know for sure what time, but we figured that Allison had been there for almost 3 hours! Don't forget it was her own party!

My mom drove to Oakley to get my Grandmother. So my mom had a trek of her own. 30 miles backwards before going 60 miles forwards. Jean then drove them both home.

We like it complicated I guess! Party on!
