Fergie and the Moose

This morning with out looking I just let Fergie out the back door. Only to realize a second later that there was a mama moose and TWIN babies out there. Fergie went right for them! She was cautious, but still got right up to them. You can see one of the babies, and the shadows of the mama and the other baby. "Come back here Fergie!"

She is so not guilty! ( with her baby)

Brian is a crawler

First Day of School

This morning I woke up at like 6:45 worried about making sure everyone was on time. Last night Brooke was wandering around at like 11 p.m. She said she couldn't sleep. She has to make the bus at 6:50. So I was texting her as soon as I woke up. She seemed happy and was on the bus. Sorry no photo.

Lilly got herself up so early. She had to have a shower and blow dry her hair. Only to put it into a ponytail!

Ian has been so excited also that he has for the last month insisted on taking a shower the morning of school.

The bus stop was full of excitement! Not to mention all the dogs that haven't seen each other since last year.

Lilly and Ian were so embarrassed that I made them have a picture! You can't tell.... Ha ha ha

Home from Vegas

The girls where flying home from Las Vegas on their own. Their flight got delayed twice! Ian and I got so nervous waiting. I can imagine all sorts of horrible scenarios!

They made it in good spirits. All was well. They grow up so fast!

Redstone

While waiting for dinner at Redstone, the boys checked out the outdoor art. "Light head man" and some bronze children.

They were most taken with the patina frog on the bench!

Playing at the Johnson's

While Dad (Brent) worked at his parents house, the kids got to play with grandma and grandpa. We went to their house yesterday and they had such a great time, that they asked all day when we could go back down. They really know how to host a good time.

No Bears out tonight

Grandma Johnson said "lets play no bears out tonight" She said Grandpa had to be "it" first. Grandma then was the first to get tagged!

It was then up to Grandma and Grandpa to catch both Brent and Ian.

Before the game began Grandpa said he thought the only kid he could catch was Brian!

Tether Ball

Our neighbors have put a tether ball up right at the corner of our street. On Monday the McEntires came over to help us with our yard. Jelina came also with her kids. They all went out to play. It was so cute to see them all there playing as a group

Brian waits

Brian is at one of his favorite stores. The Home Depot. He loves to shop. He loves to take rides in the cart. Even on his bad days he always cheers up when he gets to go in the cart. This time though he enjoyed looking out the window of the car watching for Daddy to come out.

He turned for a quick smile for the camera.

Day in Provo

Today we went to Provo for a day with our cousins. We started out at the pool. The weather was spectacular, hot and sunny. I finally got to see, and spend some time with Jean after like 3 months of passing hellos. I am so glad I got to see her. We ended it at the Pizza Factory for obviously pizza, salad and most importantly Diet Coke on the patio. The kids love to get together. Who wouldn't!?

At the Park

I thought that today would be an awesome day to go to the park since it was cloudy. Thinking that it would be cooler. Ha ha ha !! The sun totally came out and it was beautiful!

Brian loves the swing.

Brent is bandaged

Last night as Brent was doing the usual rough-housing, he had an out of the ordinary fall off our bed. He hit his head on our footboard and got quite the gash on his head. Dad had to go to the store to get special wraps because the wound was in his hair. Band-aids can't go there (hair. ouch.). He seemed pleased with his G.I. Joe bandage. I was glad that it stopped bleeding and we didn't have to go to the emergency room.

A fabulous sunset on the way out! It was too hard to capture...

Lunch with Lisa & her kids

Brent, Ian and I had lunch with Lisa and her two little kids, Ryan and Emma.

After a little food (energy) they were ready to run.

Such a great place to run!
