"Smart Brian"

Brooke's eye screening came back bad, so we had to get her in to see a Dr. While we were waiting Ian couldn't resist putting glasses on Brian. He called me over to find "smart Brian". We all three were laughing.

The moose is on the loose

Ahhh I love this moose family.

Just a busy busy day.

Golf Lessons

Brent and Ian had their first golf lesson.

Ian wore his "golf" hat. He had so much fun.

Brent was doing really good chipping. He really loved it and asked as soon as we left when he could go to golf lessons again.

Ian took Brian down the slide for his fun.

In the morning....

In the morning Brian is such a tease. He rolls around the bed kissing and kicking.

He is so much fun to play with.

It's Fall!

I totally love fall. I'm so happy to see all of the colors on the mountains, even though they are not as bright as years past.

Brownie Night

Brian is no fool when it comes to knowing treats.

Simple pleasures like mixing brownies up.

Frankfurt

Paris Sept 1

A full day. Galaries Lafayette, Place De L'Opera, the Madeleine, & Sacre-Coeur.

Dinner at Pizza Oskian, near the Musee Du Louvre. Brent, Leslie, Nan, Ryan, Brian, Dave, & Sherrie.

Love the Galleries Lafayette!

The fabulous Galleries Lafayette.

I was so worried our whole trip that Brian would be one huge mess. :-) Every meal he is amazingly messy. We loved the fried mashed potatoes at Galleries Lafayette.

The Eiffel Tower Aug 31 @ Night

We went to the Eiffel Tower at night. Another picture that I wish I had in daylight! At night they have lit it up Blue and it Sparkles every hour.

Brian was fascinated with the lift.

Rodin Museum Aug 31, 2008

80">

On Sunday we went to the Rodin Museum. When you walk into the front gardens before you get to a most fabulous mansion, just to the left is the ever famous bronze "the Thinker". It gave us goose bumps. Rodin must have been inspired on that piece. It is so poignant. The gardens where fabulous and the mansion was unreal. Everyone should see it, what a sight!

Right across the street is Napoleons tomb. Sadly I didn't get any pictures there, but we went into the World War II Museum which was really interesting. I wish we had had more time to walk through there but Brian was getting tired and we still hadn't been into see Napoleons tomb. Napoleons tomb was amazing.

Paris Aug 30,

After getting out of the Subway, which you know is like miles of underground paths, I took a wrong turn on the streets above to get to Notre Dame. This only added to the vast amount of walking for the day.

Lunch with a view of Notre Dame. Sherrie, Dave, Ryan, Nan, Brent, Leslie, & Brian.

Brent & I ordered the biggest Diet coke they had. We learned our lesson then and there that we will not be doing that again. Our drinks cost $25. :-) After that I only had one small Coke light a day. I think I have quit drinking Diet Coke. At least for this week.

We visited on foot, Notre Dame, Saint-Chapelle, Marie Antoinette's jail cell, Jardin du Palais Royal.

On the map each site looked close to the last so we kept trekking forward. I'm not sure how far we ended up walking but we were exhausted by the end of our self directed tour.

What a beautiful city. I love Paris.

Dinner on the Champs - Elysees

Brent & Me & Brian

Brent & Leslie. The one shot I really really wanted. In the day. Sad!

Brian waiting for the subway.

Getting to Paris

Brian did totally great on the flight over to Paris. I have to say that the direct flight from Salt Lake City to Paris with the time change works out really well.

We spent the first night in Roissy so that we could recover from our flight and meet up with the rest of our party who where flying in a day later. This gave us a chance to walk through their town and enjoy their town hall.
