Paris Aug 30,

After getting out of the Subway, which you know is like miles of underground paths, I took a wrong turn on the streets above to get to Notre Dame. This only added to the vast amount of walking for the day.

Lunch with a view of Notre Dame. Sherrie, Dave, Ryan, Nan, Brent, Leslie, & Brian.

Brent & I ordered the biggest Diet coke they had. We learned our lesson then and there that we will not be doing that again. Our drinks cost $25. :-) After that I only had one small Coke light a day. I think I have quit drinking Diet Coke. At least for this week.

We visited on foot, Notre Dame, Saint-Chapelle, Marie Antoinette's jail cell, Jardin du Palais Royal.

On the map each site looked close to the last so we kept trekking forward. I'm not sure how far we ended up walking but we were exhausted by the end of our self directed tour.

What a beautiful city. I love Paris.

Yay! I'm glad you love Paris.

Baptiste and I used to love to go and sit and read by the fountain at the Jardin du Palais Royal.

That last picture of you at the café is hilarious. I'm impressed that you managed to find such generous servings of Coke Light!
