L.A. Weekend

We meaning Big Brent, Brian and I went to L.A. for the weekend. Brent had a client who was retiring.

She thanked him for being there with a fresh leis for both he and I.

Brian checking out Chinese Theater.

An awesome McDonalds in Hollywood, to score Diet Coke!

We hit Pinks at the exact right time. Breakfast! There was no line.

Brian totally loved it!!! We were laughing as he tried to eat as much as possible.

Pinkberry

In L.A. Brent and I went to Pinkberry. Let me tell you how awesome it is! It is yogurt and shaved ice mixed. You can mix in all sorts of fruits and dry cereal. If you are ever in California or in New york, you have to try it. THE BEST YOGURT EVER!!!!!!

The Bees Won!

Ian and Brent at the Bees game on Tuesday evening.

The mascot "Bumble" was a thrill for the kids. Brent's eyes were glued to the field watching for him. If he was M.I.A., I heard about it.

We got special treatment and were able to be up close and personal!

Thanx to Jean and Tye we were hosted in a fancy shmancy suite. After 11 innings and 4 home runs we (the bees) won the game 6-5!!!!!

All you need is a Box

Ian & Brent playing in a large brown box

Brian in the corner, joining the fun. This box is an amazing enter-tainment system. It has given me countless moments of peace! The shouts and whoops are often. But you know it is in a tight and contained 18" X 42" space! What could they possibly be imagining!? Did I say contained.....ya,,,, until the box is turned into a Fred Flinstone ride. It then can move....... uh uhm. This can be very dangerous! Thankfully it only ended up in the basement. Perfect!

Dr. Day

Today was Brian's six month check-up at 7.5 months old. He Weights 21.7 LBS / 85% & he is 29 inches / 90%!!! I guess compared to his last check-up he has slimed down. Still he is the size of a 1 year old. "Big Boy" ;)

Dinner & Hike to the Reservoir

We were invited to a BBQ at my aunt & uncles house in Oakley. My uncle Steve is in town from Bolivia.

Tye took on the enter-tainment portion for the evening.

Jean & the boys are totally impressed!

After Dinner in Oakley, The kids like to hike to the reservoir.

I didn't go last year, but I was told only just this year that Ian threw a special item in the water last year. ( Sorry Stephanie :<)

The kids top left Brooke, Lilly, Ian, Will, Brent, & Isabelle

On the way........

Three running Horses appear.

We can't help but to include all. :)

The horses were great. They let everyone pet them. Little Brent was all around their hind legs.... I was so nervous!

Continuing Construction

Brent is so excited to show the camera. "Come see this!".

Our Back yard has been dug into. We are making a flat spot for the kids to play in. We are tierd of a cliff back yard.

We joked and said that we plan on making this a volcano with shooting fire! It is hard to get the granger of this pile of dirt. It is ginormous.

Brent & Brian

Brent loves to hold Brian, who slowly, safely (I might add), reaches the floor. :)

Ian & Fergie

A mysterious pink ball showed up in our yard a couple days ago.

At first Fergie was totally frightened by the ball. She was growling at the ball. She wouldn't even do her "business"

She got over that quickly

She ran up and popped that ball.

Ian was more than happy to help her rip it to shreds!

Pool Days

Lilly and Laura were enjoying the shade and trying to conquer fast melting ice cream.

Ian and Brent were so happy to be back at the pool.

Brent did NOT want to leave. He was in heaven.

While Brian was having his first "pool experience".

Sticky Popcorn

Brent has been asking to make "Sticky Popcorn" for weeks. I think it has been sense December when we brought Garrett's carmel Popcorn home from a trip. It took me so long because I was raised using a hot air popcorn maker and I can't imagine making it any other way. That would be wrong! :) I finally went and got one. It never occurred to me that Brent had never seen one before.

So when I turned it on and it started to pop Brent said backing away from the machine "It's going to blow!" He quickly returned (safety boy) after he realized that it was safe. When it was done and he was eating he said "This is my best day ever." That is a famous line in our house. I never get tired of hearing it. :)

Winter or Spring?

Living in Park City, you never know when spring will finally arrive.

This is off the Charts late in the year. They say at the nursery that you can plant flowers after June 10th.

I have to remind people of this fact every year. This year however is even later!!! :(

Brian is a food eater

Brian loves to eat his foods.

He would prefer doing it himself....

After all he is so "BIG"

Sadly he only gets a hold of it when it is empty

Banana's seem to be a big hit.
