Halloween at the Office

On Friday October 30th Brent's office hosted a Halloween trick or treat and parade. Missed the parade photo shoot =(

Brian would not dress up for Halloween. I did my best by putting a cowboy shirt on him. Ian the "bones" & Brent is "Batman"

The boys favorite thing to do at the office is to look out at the awesome sights. How lucky to have a crane working right next to them. They were glued to the window.

Oct 19th. Ian's Birthday

Oct 19th was Ian's Birthday. He turned 9 years old.

I had to document his reaction to the cake which was so so funny.

Last Day of School

Lilly spent the night before the "Clap off" making a very elaborate hat for the 5th grade "Clap off" parade.

When I finally found Ian, he was a sad face.... He was so sad to leave his teacher. I was so glad to be able to get a picture of Ian and Mrs. Hendrickson.

The yearling moose in our yard

"Morris" the yearling moose came to our yard on May 27th. If Fergie even looked at him he would charge toward her and stomp his feet. He was very scary. I was so scared while I ran to get my camera that he would walk up our front steps and there stood all of my kids watching him.

Ian was a very dramatic actor. I was dying as he sings into the microphone, especially when he misses words and the girls next to him turn to look at him blunder.... At least he knows ALL the moves and keeps the other kids up to speed.

Ian's Baptism

Ian was baptised on Nov 16, 2008 by "Pop"

He was very happy and was on his best behavior.

Ian had his 8th birthday party at Newpark.

I feel so bad! I didn't get any pictures. The party was like a blur!

Ian invited Sami, Christian, Skyler, Jacob A., Ryan, Sam, Emma, Megan.

They played lots of games like, No bears out tonight, Catch the Flag, Duck Duck Goose, Hid-n-go seek tag. The also had the bounce houses blown up so that they could jump. With all the space that they had many races where had. :-)

Ian was cutting out an art project with Lilly late the other night. He didn't want to miss out on the fun. At least he got a pillow before he crashed!

A mysterious pink ball showed up in our yard a couple days ago.










At first Fergie was totally frightened by the ball. She was growling at the ball. She wouldn't even do her "business"








She got over that quickly












She ran up and popped that ball.










Ian was more than happy to help her rip it to shreds!

Today was Ian's last 1st grade program. He did such a great job doing his part! I am so proud of him.

Ian at the Dentist

Ian had to go to the dentist yesterday to get a spacer put into his mouth. His body was very fancy and decided to produce 2 extra teeth. They didn't work for us...just so you know. The one on top was fine, but the one on the bottom had to have the baby teeth removed in order to get it out. :( Now he wears a spacer in order to keep his teeth from "drifting". Watch out if you are related,,,,,extra teeth are in the family.
